NYSC was created to ensure national integration through placement of graduates in other states different to their homeland. But a good number of corps members demand relocation (redeployment) because of personal reasons such as the desire to go back home, security issues, health or marriage.
As insecurity has increased in some areas in Nigeria, most corps members are seeking means to alter their posting and in the process some of them pay a lot of money to these so- called agents unaware that it is not as hard as they think! You can even relocate in NYSC online or even in camp!
In this post we will see How to Apply for NYSC Relocation at the Camp and Online:

You must apply on the basis of NYSC Relocation.
NYSC permits the corps members to seek relocation (that is also known as redeployment) in four conditions as follows:
1. Health Reasons
In case you have some medical condition which cannot be adequately addressed in your home state you can request relocation. As a proof, you are going to be asked to provide a medical report at a government hospital.
2. Marriage (Only Female Corps Members)
Female corps members who are married may seek redeployment so that they can come to their husbands. Valid marriage certificate should be availed to substantiate the application.
3. Security Concerns
You may request relocation in case your place of primary assignment (PPA) or deployment state becomes unsafe because of unrest, terrorism, or any other threats. It might be essential to present security reports or even news on the same.
4. Director-General Special Directive
There are some unique reasons that the NYSC Director-General may allow one to be redeployed on being exceptional. This normally depends on recommendations by authorities.
In case your scenario can be categorized under any of these, then you can be relocated. The application (on- line or in camp), in turn, is followed by the next step.
